Shield
Brick red and yellow are the colors of the Transportation Corps. The truck wheel and chain represent the truck and fully-tracked vehicle elements of the Battalion and the wavy partition line alludes to the units amphibious capabilities. The wings denote the Battalions place of origin (Los Angeles, California) and being attached to the bayonet symbolize this Transportation Battalions connection with the Infantry Division.
